We are the “data controller” for the personal data described here. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZA903181.

2. What we collect and why

Enquiry & quote details — when you use our contact/quote form we collect your name, company, email, phone and message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation. Legal basis: legitimate interests / steps to enter a contract.
Orders placed in our shop — purchases at /store are processed by our shop provider (Ecwid) and their payment processors. They handle the order, delivery and payment data under their own privacy terms.
Website analytics — if you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data (pages viewed, device, approximate region) so we can improve the site. Legal basis: your consent.

We do not collect special-category data, and we never sell your personal data.

3. Cookies we use

When you first visit, you can Accept all or Reject non-essential. Until you accept, analytics run in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode v2) and no analytics cookies are stored. Essential cookies are always needed for the site and shop to work.

4. Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted processors to run this site and respond to you:

Google (Analytics / Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement, only with your consent.
Ecwid — our online shop and checkout.
Payment providers — card payments at checkout are handled by Ecwid’s integrated payment provider(s); we never see or store your full card details.
Vercel — hosts and serves this website.
Our quotation system — securely receives contact-form enquiries so our team can reply.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements / Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quotation correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our legitimate business and legal record-keeping, then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email sales@uvc-vtm.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
