About the MAXVAC MEDI 10
The MAXVAC MEDI 10 is a hospital-grade air purification unit engineered for demanding public and clinical environments. Combining multi-stage mechanical filtration with concealed UV-C disinfection, it delivers exceptional air quality where indoor air matters most. As a high capacity HEPA air purifier, the MEDI 10 removes 99.995% of microparticles larger than 0.01 microns and disinfects treated air by up to 99.999%, making it a trusted choice for infection-conscious settings. It has been proven in trials at Addenbrooke's Hospital, one of the UK's leading teaching hospitals.
Multi-stage filtration and disinfection
Air passes through a sequence of purpose-built stages: G2 and G3 pre-filters capture larger dust and debris to protect and prolong the life of the main filter; a high-flow Alpaire HEPA H13 filter traps fine particulates, allergens and airborne pathogens; and an activated carbon layer adsorbs odours, gases and volatile organic compounds. Finally, a concealed Steribreeze UV-C stage inactivates microorganisms as air passes through the unit. This layered approach ensures both particulate removal and microbial disinfection in a single, continuous process.
Safe, quiet operation for occupied spaces
The concealed UV-C system is built to ISO 15858 and is ozone-free, so it can run safely in occupied rooms without exposing people to UV light or harmful by-products. With three fan speeds, low noise output and an airflow range of 350–1,300 m³/h, the MEDI 10 is built for continuous use in busy public spaces. Its high-capacity performance makes it a dependable UV-C air purifier for hospitals, schools and public spaces alike, where quiet, uninterrupted running throughout the day is essential.
