About the UV-C Duct Modules

Light Progress UV-C Duct Modules bring proven in-duct UV-C disinfection to the heart of your air-handling infrastructure. Built directly into AHU and HVAC ducts, these lamp-battery modules act on the moving airstream to stop viruses, bacteria, mould and spores multiplying and spreading through the building they serve. Designed for large ducts carrying high airflow, they deliver continuous HVAC UV-C air disinfection at the point where contaminated air passes — making them a robust, compliance-led choice for estates and facilities teams who need dependable air hygiene as part of a wider ventilation strategy.

Engineered for maximum UV-C dose in high-airflow ducts

Effective AHU UV-C treatment depends on delivering sufficient ultraviolet energy to the passing air. In these duct UV-C modules the lamps are mounted so that the airflow strikes them vertically, maximising exposure time and securing the highest possible UV-C dose even where air volumes are demanding. Each module is carried on a sturdy stainless steel frame suited to the humidity and airflow of a working duct, and is supplied as a battery of four or six lamps. The result is a resilient, purpose-built assembly engineered to perform reliably within the operating conditions of commercial air-handling plant.

Flexible configuration to fit almost any duct

No two ductwork layouts are identical, so the modules are produced in a range of lengths and widths to fit almost any duct. Units can be arranged side-by-side across a wide cross-section, or set out in a labyrinth configuration to extend the irradiated path and lift the delivered dose still further. This flexibility makes in-duct UV-C straightforward to specify and retrofit across mixed building stock. A dedicated control box provides optical monitoring of each individual emitter, so operators gain clear visibility of lamp status and can plan maintenance around real condition data rather than fixed guesswork.

Cleaner coils, cleaner air, across critical estates

In-duct UV-C treats the moving airstream while also keeping cooling coils and duct surfaces clean, helping to preserve airflow, thermal efficiency and hygiene over time. It complements — rather than replaces — mechanical filtration, working alongside your existing filters to address the biological load that passes through them. That makes these duct UV-C modules well suited to building HVAC and air-handling units in hospitals, offices, schools and commercial buildings, where consistent air quality and clean plant matter most. Available on a 30-day trial and priced on application, they can be quoted in GBP, EUR or USD to suit your project.
